Designed for Performance and Versatility Developed in collaboration with Australian downhill racer Troy Brosnan, the Maxxis Dissector is engineered to minimize drag while maintaining superior cornering control. This versatile tire adapts seamlessly to various trail conditions, making it an excellent choice for trail bikes as a front tire, rear tire, or paired setup. Key Features: Ideal Usage : Perfectly suited for dry, fast trails and bike parks, providing exceptional performance at high speeds. Tread Design : The centerline tread is ramped to reduce drag while retaining sharp, flat edges for strong braking traction. Enhanced Cornering : Small sipes in the knobs provide additional flexion, increasing surface area during braking and aiding the transition to edge blocks when cornering. Debris Clearance : Ample spacing between lugs helps to efficiently clear debris, ensuring consistent traction. EXO+ Protection : Features an additional SilkShield layer for increased puncture protection, enhanced sidewall durability, and improved resistance to pinch flats. Tubeless Ready (TR) : Designed for easy tubeless setup, allowing lower tire pressure for better grip and comfort. Wide Trail (WT) Casing : Optimized for inner rim widths of 30-35mm, providing enhanced stability and traction. All Maxxis tires measuring 2.40" and up are classified as WT. 3C MaxxTerra Compound : An intermediate triple compound that offers more traction than MaxxSpeed, better tread wear, and less rolling resistance compared to MaxxGrip.
