The Electa Bassinet + Stand is a must-have accessory for your newborn. It consists of a very large bassinet, approved for overnight sleep and a convenient stand to put it by your side. The bassinet fits babies from birth up to 6 months and makes a comfy place where your baby will spend many hours of their first delicate months of life. The Electa bassinet is the perfect environment, welcoming them with all the much-needed comfort and safety, featuring a ventilation control system to regulate the flow of air and temperature inside it. Thanks to the bassinet stand, the bassinet can be positioned comfortably and hygienically inside your home (even while traveling), turning it into an actual bed for the night to be placed next to yours. As all Inglesina products, the Electa bassinet + stand is free of regulated BPA, lead or phthalates. WHY A SPACIOUS BASSINET IS IMPORTANT Your baby's big future should start with a large bassinet. For the correct physiological development of your newborn, it is important to ensure that they are laying down horizontally for as long as possible. Thanks to its large internal dimensions (31.10'' x 14.57''), your baby can lay down comfortably for at least 6 months, even when wrapped up in warm clothes. Your baby will spend many hours in this bassinet during their first months, even for overnight sleep. That is why we designed their perfect environment, ideal to welcome them in the comfort and safety they need after spending 9 months in the womb. APPROVED FOR OVERNIGHT SLEEP Thanks to the bassinet stand, the bassinet can be positioned comfortably and hygienically inside your home (even while traveling), turning it into an actual bed for the night to be placed next to yours. If your baby falls asleep, avoid waking them up when coming back from your stroll. This is good for your baby and for you, too. When coming back from your stroll, avoid waking your baby up: effortlessly detach the bassinet from stroller frame (sold separately, with the stroller) and place the bassinet onto the stand. THE IDEAL AIR FLOW ENVIRONMENT Newborns do not yet have the ability to make the best use of the thermoregulation centers of their central nervous system. Their skin is thin and easily attacked by harmful UV rays, heat, cold and pollution. The bassinet mattress is made of medium density foam with 40 holes for ventilation, spread uniformly. The part in contact with your baby is covered with bamboo fiber, which is highly breathable, hypoallergenic and anti-bacterial, perfect for your baby's delicate skin. A 3D mesh is applied to the base to improve air circulation and prevent the build-up of humidity. The bassinet base is constructed with a ventilation control system to regulate the air flow. The bottom front of the bassinet features a lever, that allows you to adjust the air flow in the summer months and keep the warmth during the cold winter months. EXTENDABLE HOOD The hood features an anti-UV (UPF50+) treated fabric with sun visor for shielding against direct sunlight even when the sun is low on the horizon. Its cover is made of double panels, to protect your baby from the wind and the cold. A "quick-access" apron is there to place your newborn easily into the bassinet without having to detach the apron first. CONVENIENT APRON During the winter its extendable flap protects your baby from the harsh elements. In the summer months, unzip the apron to allow extra air flow into the bassinet, keeping your baby happy and cool. MESH HOOD When the temperature rises, enhance the wellness of your baby by unzipping the fabric on the hood for air to flow through the mesh, both when relaxing at home and during your daily walks.
