They ensure the tire's performance through deep snow, while also providing additional biting edges for ice-covered surfaces. Durable compound elements help to upgrade the rubber flexibility, optimizing the freezing traction. Straight and zigzag circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning as they disperse water and slush from the footprint in wet conditions. Additionally, the tread is pinned for studs.Better road contact enhances the controllability as well. The zigzag center rib enables the tire's close and consistent surface contact, which boosts the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the tire is able to ensure its steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire.
