The sipe and notch pattern generates additional biting edges, while the compound keeps the tire pliable throughout the year. Circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint, avoiding hydroplaning in wet conditions.The maintained surface contact of the symmetric footprint greatly improves the controllability as well. This allows the tire to enhance the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, it upgrades the structural stability throughout the drive and improves the steering response time and accuracy. The shoulder block pattern generated additional biting edges needed to ensure safer maneuvering. Braking is shortened as the sipe and notch pattern creates friction during stopping.
