Our Silicone Chess Board is the most flexible chess board available today. Unlike vinyl chess boards that are more stiff, you can fold it, roll it, or even wad it up into a ball and it will immediately lay back out perfectly flat every time. It's durable and washable but the screen printing is not as sharp as on a vinyl board. This board can be rolled up but is more effectively folded into the size you need to store it in a chess bag. Another characteristic of silicone is that it has some grip, so silicone chess pieces won't slide across the board. Not necessarily bad, but definitely different from a vinyl board where pieces slide smoothly. Overall, this chess board is an excellent choice for the club player looking for a chess board that lays perfectly flat.
