The king is 3.875" tall with a 1.75" diameter based and the pieces have a broad base design that is nicely weighted with the full set weighing 38 ounces. This is a 34 piece set that includes 2 extra queens for pawn promotion.Our Deluxe Carry-All Tournament Chess Bag is thoughtfully designed for holding everything the chess player needs and makes it easy to carry to the next game. The bag is made of an attractive and heavy nylon material that is durable and will withstand the wear of travel for many years. The bag has both a handle and a detachable shoulder strap for convenient carrying and a double zipper that opens the bag on three sides to make it easy to get things out. Inside there are two zippered compartments for holding the black and white pieces separately and a spacious zippered compartment in the middle that will hold the largest chess clock.
