Our Executive Deluxe Carry-All Plastic Chess Set is an excellent choice for any level, whether beginner or experienced tournament player. This package includes our Executive Plastic Chess Set with black and ivory pieces, our Deluxe Carry-All Chess Bag, and Lightweight Floppy Chess Board. The Executive has an elegant Staunton design with unusually tall knights and rooks, a feature many chess players prefer. The king is 3.875" tall with a 1.75" diameter based and the pieces have a broad base design that is nicely weighted with the full set weighing 38 ounces. This is a 34 piece set that includes 2 extra queens for pawn promotion.Our Deluxe Carry-All Tournament Chess Bag is thoughtfully designed for holding everything the chess player needs and makes it easy to carry to the next game. The bag is made of an attractive and heavy nylon material that is durable and will withstand the wear of travel for many years. The bag has both a handle and a detachable shoulder strap for convenient carrying and a double zipper that opens the bag on three sides to make it easy to get things out. Inside there are two zippered compartments for holding the black and white pieces separately and a spacious zippered compartment in the middle that will hold the largest chess clock. There are 2 elastic straps for holding a rollup chess board in place and a pocket goes the full length of the bag for scorebooks and other items.The lightweight floppy chess board combines the benefit of a flexible rubber backed mousepad board with the thinness of vinyl or silicone chess board. The top surface is a fabric material that is washable while the bottom is a thin rubber mat and together the board is only 1 mm thick (~040"). This is a regulation size chess board with 2.25" squares and measures 20"overall.
