The simple yet distinguished design has proven a timeless favorite for generations of chess players. This is a thirty-four-piece set that includes two extra queens for pawn promotion. The king is 2.75"-tall with a base of 1.25", an ideal size for casual chess games at home. The pieces are heavily weighted for exceptional stability and have thick green baize pads on the bottom for a soft cushion on the chess board. We include a Certificate of Manufacturer so you will always know what the pieces are, when they were made, and where they came from.Our Walnut and Maple Molded Edge Chess Board from Rechapados Ferrer combines classic design with elegant features to create an eye-catching battle field for your chess game.
