This elegant chess set package from Europe includes Italfama's Italian Arabesque Metal Staunton Chess Set from Italy matched and our Blue and Erable Chess Board from Rechapados Ferrer. This elegant metal chess set created by the designers and craftsmen of Italfama has a traditional Staunton design that is ideal for both playing chess and using for décor in the home. The surface of each piece is decorated with an arabesque ornamental pattern giving them a luxurious appearance. Pieces are made from solid metal using the old-world, lost-wax casting process. They are then brass and nickel plated and lacquered to prevent tarnishing. This is a medium size chess set with a 3" king and a base diameter of 1". Pieces have red felt pads embossed with the Italfama logo.
