This is a thirty-four-piece set that includes two extra queens for pawn promotion. The pieces are handcrafted from rosewood and boxwood and polished to a lustrous shine. This is a tournament size set with a 3.75"-inch-tall king. The pieces are heavily weighted for exceptional stability and have thick green baize pads on the bottom for a soft cushion and that allow the pieces to slide smoothly across the chess board.
