The circumferential grooves in the tread pattern help resist hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the footprint of the tire. That means the tire can handle and conquer all uneven, soft or loose road surfaces, like dirt roads. The tire maintains its traction on those surfaces and will perform as well as on the road. The tire compound used to manufacture this model is excellent for this purpose.
