It reinforces the tire's structure for it to be able to maintain the weight of the vehicle and its passengers for a limited time after air pressure loss. When the air pressure leaves the tire, due to a puncture, malfunction or other damage, the tire can still be driven on for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph. This prevents the driver from being stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire and allows them to drive to a location where they can change or fix the tire or issue. Run flat tires are typically manufactured for vehicles that do not have space for a spare tire. Run flat tires cannot be mixed with regular tires, as their internal structure is much heavier.The model has excellent summer weather traction.
