Petrol-Gel is probably the number one sanitary lubricant used in the dairy industry and soft serve machines. The popularity of the technical white grease, now in production since 1952, has expanded to all areas of food manufacturing, in such industries as meat and poultry packing, bakery, beverage, brewery and distilleries, food packaging manufacturers, fruit and juice canners, vegetable canners and many more. Petrol-Gel helps to extend equipment life and cut maintenance cost by keeping all bearing and moving parts lubed and free of excessive friction. Petrol-Gel is one of the purest of lubricants, made with an odorless, tasteless high viscosity index paraffinic base oil. It is compounded with appropriate food grade additives to meet the performance demands for all recommended applications. It is NSF registered and authorized by USDA as a lubricant for use where incidental contact with food may occur. More uses and features of Petrol-Gel include: Tasteless and odorless Will not taint USDA Rated H-1 FDA approved Impervious to water Operating Temp 0° - 185°F High melting point of 195°F Technical white grease Valves, pistons, pumps O-rings, guides, slide mechanisms, and more.
