The DDS-12-CP is a 12' sharpening steel, coated in industrial grade diamonds. It comes complete with a Sani-Safe handle. Dexter-Russell's trademark Sani-Safe line is the widest line of NSF Certified, professional cutlery in the world. It's made of quality, stain-free, high-carbon steel with ultimate sharp edges which are hand-ground and honed. Its high-impact 'Grip-Tex' polypropylene handles were formed for slip-resistant grip, safety and tough use.
