This option of buying only the vibrator cuts out the cost of shipping the trash can--which weighs 5.8 pounds and measures 19.5 x 23 inches. It therefore pays to buy the can in your local department store and have us ship you the vibrator only. The sifter and motor are joined to a sawed-off Trash Can that conveniently fits into another Brute. The 50 mesh is the choice for keeping out tiny bugs or bug parts (for kashrus). Note: Mesh-hole size affects the speed of sifting (smaller meaning slower), so choose 50 mesh only for sifting out extra-fine particles.
