The bristles are synthetic but soft and are shaped to be used with Wilton Color Dust or Pearl Dust (not included). Use the bigger brush for wide areas of a fondant cake or to brush whole flowers with Wilton Color Dust or Pearl Dust. Use the thinner brush to apply small details to sugarpaste or gumpaste decorations, imparting shades to your designs. Before your first use and after each subsequent one, wash by hand with warm water and non-harsh-chemicals soap. Press out excess water. Air dry.
