Contrast this item with the Swirl Centerpiece mold (item SM-01), which looks the same at first glance but reveals subtle differences on closer inspection. With curls and plumes that diverge from a common center, the Flourish Centerpiece mimics architectural jewelry. The silicone is tear resistant and, with its safety in heat up to 450F, remains food grade even when holding boiling isomalt. Marvelous molds incorporate so-called blades, ridges sharp enough to cut into fondant like gumpaste cutters, and the silicone's flexibility makes removal of the fondant easy. 1-3/4 inch x 6-1/2 inch.
