The rubber elements of the durable, finer carbon black compound help to effectively prevent heat build-up across the tread area. The asymmetric tread design with the ribbed footprint upgrades the surface traction in dry and wet weather conditions with the use of extra biting edges. The footprint's ideal groove placement allows the tire to improve the hydroplaning resistance by dispersing water from the footprint. The combination of these improvements upgrades the tire's secure summer weather performance.The tire's better controllability is improved as well. The ribbed tread design and the ESCOT technology work together to upgrade the surface contact. This technology optimizes the tire's bead, sidewall, and shoulder structure's tension which ensures the surface contact and the pressure circulation across the tread area. This enables the tire to boost the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The shoulder block pattern with the siping placement upgrades the cornering and maneuvering ability at all times.
