The circumferential and lateral grooves actively disperse water and slush from below the tire footprint which further boosts the year round driving safety and the model's hydroplaning resistance.The silica compound, along with the wider tread profile, also offers excellent controllability in all weather. They boost the steering responsiveness and the driving stability by maintaining road contact and increasing the road contact area. The better road grip and larger contact patch ensure a stable and easily controlled tire as it is fortified against the driving pressure affecting it and is quick and precise in its response to the driver's instructions. The better steering and stability allow the driver to confidently control the tire in all conditions.The special tire compound also features L. L. Carbon, or Long Link Carbon, in it.
