OVERVIEW: The Constellation CDR 955 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.The tire provides great all weather traction. The tread design's detailed pattern and large tread elements improve the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. This enables the tire to improve the grip on the road surface throughout its performance. The lug sipes increase the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the tire's performance to ensure a stronger traction. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. This further improves wet and winter weather performance.The model promotes a lengthened tread life. The wear-resistant tire compound and the tread design's balanced pressure distribution elongate the tire's usability. The durable compound slows the tread wear rate down, preventing acceleration tread wear from shortening the usability. The tread's even pressure distribution avoids uneven tread wear along the tread area. The evenly distributed force of acceleration, cornering and braking actively ensures a longer lasting service life and usability.The CFR 955 offers an enhanced controllability. The ideal tire shape and the optimized road contact of the symmetric tread design work together to improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability.
