In the 1990s the F-15C was deployed in the Balkans conflict where it was again used to establish air superiority over the region. The F-15C has also seen action in Afghanistan and Iraq during the Global War on Terror.In 2016 the F-15C Eagle was still a critical component of the U.S. Air Forces air superiority strategy. The U.S. ANG 173rd Fighter Wing flew these iconic aircraft during that year ensurin.
