Use these two template kits with your router to produce the finished mortise on both the door and the jamb. The strike (jamb) template will produce two mortises, the 1-1/8" x 2-3/4" 'T' strike with the red plastic block-off plate removed and the 1-1/8" x 2-3/4" deadbolt strike with the red plastic insert block-off plate installed. The latch template will produce a finish mortise of 1-1/8" x 2-1/4" on the door edge. Each template has two nail assemblies to attach the templates to the jamb and door.
