Temperature Sensitive Chemistry and Biology, Heat Fixation, Solution pH Optimization, Solution Sterilization, Endothermic Reactions, Denaturing of Organic Material, Sample and Solution Preparation, Dissolving Buffers and Reagents, Preparing Media, Boiling. Backlit LCD Display for temperature, speed and time, green indicator lights when unit is heating and stirring, two prominent hot top indicator lights, icons for SmartRate, SmartHeat, SmartPresence, SmartLink, probe in use, Single Point Calibration. Probe connection, SmartHousing stays cool to the touch and is chemical-resistant, IP21 Ingress Protection, hardened glass front panel, control knobs, On/Off switch for heater disconnect, built-in support rod holder, easy-to-clean ceramic or aluminum tops.
