NIBCO, CE04000, 6633 1/2" FKM Socket Union S x S - Kynar Natural PVDF, Schedule 80The Chemtrol socket union is an injection molded natural Kynar polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) thermoplastic fitting that features female thermo-seal socket connections. The Chemtrol socket union is supplied with an FKM fluorocarbon seal which is suited to most applications involving mineral acids, salt solutions, chlorinated hydrocarbons and petroleum oils. It is also available with EPDM ethylene propylene seal which has good abrasion and tear resistance, plus excellent chemical resistance, but not recommended for applications involving petroleum oils or most strong acids. Chemtrol Kynar natural PVDF exhibits superior strength, working temperature and chemical resistance characteristics. Natural pigment provides UV protection. Kynar PVDF offers versatile chemical resistance to slats, strong acids, dilute bases and many organic solvents such as aromatics, aliphadics and chlorinated groups.
