NIBCO, CD00250, Thread Coupling FPT x FPT, Red, PVDF Kynar 1/2', Schedule 80The Chemtrol® thread coupling and reducing thread coupling are injection molded red Kynar® polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) thermoplastic fitting that features female pipe thread connections. Red Kynar® fittings are ideal for use with hot corrosive liquids, chemical processing, industrial plating, and waste treatment systems.The Chemtrol thread coupling and reducing thread coupling feature female pipe thread connections. The fitting connect PVDF piping lengths together with thermo-seal fusion joining, threading or flanging. Chemtrol® Kynar® PVDF fittings are lightweight, easy to install and maintenance-free. Chemtrol® Kynar® red PVDF exhibits superior strength, working temperature and chemical resistance characteristics. Red pigment provides UV protection. Kynar® PVDF offers versatile chemical resistance to slats, strong acids, dilute bases and many organic solvents such as aromatics, aliphadics and chlorinated groups. PVDF is also ideally suited for handling wet or dry chlorine bromine and other halogens.
