NIBCO, CD02250, Thread Plug MPT, Red, PVDF Kynar, 1/2', Schedule 80The Chemtrol® thread plug is an injection red Kynar® polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) thermoplastic fitting. Red Kynar® fittings are ideal for use with hot corrosive liquids, chemical processing, industrial plating, and waste treatment systems.The Chemtrol® thread plug features a male pipe thread connection. Chemtrol® fittings connect PVDF piping lengths together with thermo-seal fusion joining, threading or flanging to create a highly reliable, leak-free system. Chemtrol® PVDF fittings are lightweight, easy to install and maintenance-free. Chemtrol® Kynar® red PVDF exhibits superior strength, working temperature and chemical resistance characteristics. Red pigment provides UV protection. Kynar® PVDF offers versatile chemical resistance to slats, strong acids, dilute bases and many organic solvents such as aromatics, aliphadics and chlorinated groups. PVDF is also ideally suited for handling wet or dry chlorine bromine and other halogens.
