Grooved silent check valves may be installed in horizontal positions (or vertical with flow moving up). This valve is listed by Underwriters Laboratories of the US and Canada (UL/ULC) and FM Approved. Choose NIBCO® check valves, for the most specified, versatile and economical valve option in commercial, mechanical, fire protection and industrial applications. Twin Disc Check Valves can be installed horizontally or in the vertical position with flow up. For horizontal flow applications, the valve must be installed with disc hinge pin in the vertical position to insure proper operation.
