This valve is generally installed between the Siamese connections and the riser to prevent backflow. The check valve is recommended for automatic fire sprinkler applications where space is a premium. The swing check valve is grooved end style and rated 300psi CWP. Grooved check valves may be installed in horizontal positions (or vertical with flow moving up).This valve is listed by Underwriters Laboratories of the US and Canada (UL/ULC) and FM Approved.
