The G-997 Grooved Swing Check Valve is rated 300psi CWP, with Epoxy Coated Body and is UL Listed and FM Approved. Check valves prevent backflow by automatically closing when fluid reverses direction. This valve is generally installed between the Siamese connections and the riser to prevent backflow. The check valve is recommended for automatic fire sprinkler applications where space is a premium. The swing check valve is grooved end style and rated 300psi CWP. Grooved check valves may be installed in horizontal positions (or vertical with flow moving up).This valve is listed by Underwriters Laboratories of the US and Canada (UL/ULC) and FM Approved.
