The valve's injection molded PVC construction with FKM O-ring is ideal for use in chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, chemical drainage and irrigation systems.The original Chemtrol® True Union design allows the valve and operational components to be conveniently lifted from the piping system for repair or replacement. The valve can be easily joined with the socket end connections. PVC Schedule 80 exhibits excellent corrosion resistance properties and has the highest long-term hydrostatic strength of any other major thermoplastic material used for piping systems.
