Brand new 1/18 scale car model of Ferrari GTO #26 Ed Hugus - Jose Rosinski "24 Hours of Le Mans" (1964) with DISPLAY CASE Limited Edition to 200 pieces Worldwide model car by BBR Models.Brand new box.Real rubber tires.True-to-scale detail.Detailed interior exterior.Officially licensed product.Acrylic display case included.Manufacturers original unopened packaging.Dimensions approximately L-9 W-4 H-2.75 inches.This item is made of resin and does not have any openings.The 1964 24 Hours of Le Mans was the 32nd edition of the French race and took place on June 20 and 21 1964. After the 1955 tragedy with 85 deaths due to the accident of Pierre Leveghs car the Circuit de la Sarthe was reduced in 1956 to a length of 13.461 km. Furthermore the pit area were increased and improved to ensure greater safety. It was also the ninth race in that years World Prototype Sports Championship.After trying the previous year unsuccessfully to acquire Ferrari Ford decided to compete with the "Commendatore" and fans named that challenge the Ferrari-Ford War.BBR1846C Ferrari GTO 24 H Le Mans 1964 S/N 5571 GT Car N. 26 reproduces the Ferrari of drivers Hugus - Rosinski that raced but had to gave out at the ninth hour in the North American Racing Team (NART).
