The elegant aroma features base notes of vetiver, leather, vanilla and amber. Middle notes add the sweet fragrances of orange, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, while the top notes of cardamom, pink pepper and pink grapefruit create a subtle citrus scent. Together, these aromas create the classic yet modern fragrance that men have come to know and love. Creator ted lapidus was born in 1929 and apprenticed under christian dior before launching his own company in 1951.
