The PT19L Thin Tip Penetration probe provided in this Kit, is a general purpose fast response probe that is suitable for food temperature (and other temperature measurement) over the critical food range of -4°F to 167°F (-20°C to +75°C) but, with its ability to measure down to -148°F to +482°F (-100°C to 250°C ) it's a very useful probe for any other application requiring that temperature range. Coupled with the C42F Type T Food Thermometer it will provide an accuracy of ±0.9°F (±0.5°C) from 32°F to 158°F (0°C to 70°C).The AC315 Soft Carry Case is designed for the C42F Food Thermometer and is of durable construction with an integrated carry strap.
