E5850, Benchtop Reciprocal Shaker, 115VEberbach's E5850 Variable-Speed Benchtop Reciprocal Shaker is designed expressly to occupy a minimum of bench space while maintaining the versatility of our larger units. Like all Eberbach Shakers, the E5850 is simple to use and maintain. The unit is powered by a 1/17 hp Bodine DC motor which drives the platform through a filtered SCR controller. The speed is continuously variable between a range of 20-240 osc/min. Yet, at a given setting the speed is constant and is not affected by normal line voltage fluctuations. The horizontal stroke is factory set at 1'. A 1.5' stroke model is also available. Model E5850 will shake a load of up to 40 lbs at low speed and lbs 20 at high speeds. This unit can be optionaly equiped with either a aluminum platform (E6061) measuring 22.5'L x 12'W containing 168-1/4" holes for securing Eberbach E6090 Erlenmeyer flask holders which can hold numerous configurations of Erlenmeyer flasks.
