Product Details
Increase safety and efficiency in moving patients in an emergency evacuation. Designed to provide a safer solution for Emergency Professionals that is more efficient when transporting people down stairs during an emergency. The EZ LITE Evacuation Stair Chair features a battery-free & a pressure-reliant track system which grips and glides downstairs providing a smoother controlled ride for the patient and reduces stress on the operator. Control the downward speed easily by adjusting the amount of applied pressure on the stairs by the operator. Climbing up the stairs with an occupant in a nonemergency capacity requires the use of the lower lift handles to lift the patient up completely. Evacuation Chair is constructed from Aluminum and weighs only 22lbs. This lightweight yet durable design can safely carry up to 350lbs. and folds up for easy storage in an Ambulance, EMS Vehicle, Firetruck or storage closet, making the Stair chair extremely portable. The EZ Chair comes with an Ergonomic Seat, Foldable Push Handles, Headrest, Footrest, Padded Hand Grips, Rider Safety Belts, Ankle Restraints, Auxiliary Handles, Wheel Locks and Storage Cover. NOTE: This stairlift is not battery-operated. Because of this, the Evacuation Chair will require two operators to maneuver the stairlift when going up a staircase.
