Ace Glass, 5873-05, 10mm x 18', Flash Chromatography Column, Modified, Flash Chromatography Column w/ Plug and 24/40 JointFeatures:Modified version of 5872 simple absorption column for rapid preparative separations. This version incorporates a #25 Ace-Thred connector in place of the 35/20 joints, for grease-free connection. The internally threaded connector and 7506 Nylon bushing make a pressure-tight, O-Ring compression seal with glass stem on reservoir and flow adapter. Glass bead helps O-Ring form a more positive seal against bushing to help prevent backout. Bushing replaces joint clamp. Column and reservoir, only, are Epoxy Coated for added protection against scratching. Column available with or without Porosity B (70–100 micron) fritted disc sealed in. Order each item separately.
