The hard non-porous float face won't absorb moisture from the material. The float is ideal for brown coat in plaster and stucco or even applying grout for tiles. The 1/4' synthetic rubber float pad is securely cemented to a flat aluminum backer for durability when pressure is applied. This additional strength makes it easy to move material into place on wood and metal lath. A 7-1/4' smooth wood float handle provides a comfortable grip to this 11-1/2' x 5' float. Proudly made in the USA.
