The groover was created with the needs of the west coast contractor in mind. The rivetless design allows for sharp, clean joints without mussing the top of the slab. The groover is formed from a single piece of rivet-free stainless steel to provide a completely smooth clean groove. The Bit is then closed to eliminate build up and provide a smooth polished finish. This tool creates a groove in wet cement to control expansion and contraction and relieve stress points. The 6" long groover creates a 3/4" Deep, 7/8" wide groove with a 3/8" radius to prevent chipping. Each groover is made from strong #18 gauge brushed stainless steel that won't rust for a smooth working surface with easy clean-up. The rivet free design combines a 6" square groover base, top plate and bracket base to be electronically welded together provideing strength to move through concrete. Tall sides on the tool prevent the build-up of material on top. A steel mounting welded to the blade attaches the smooth wood handle. Proudly made in the USA.
