This all wood door holder is self-adjusting for doors as thin as or as thick as 2-1/4", it uses a simple wedge design to adjust for door thickness and clamps firmly onto the door to prevent the door from moving while you are planning, routing for hinge mortises or lock installation preparation. The wedge design will not allow the tool to open, unlike spring loaded or gravity activated metal door holders.
