The primary quality of these high heat labels is their ability to remain readable after exposure to hot conditions, in contrast with standard direct thermal labels that turn entirely dark during the heating process. When using these heat-resistant labels for labeling chemical containers, they will withstand incidental exposure to 70% ethanol and xylene. Given that these labels are also resistant to low temperatures (-80°C/ -112°F), they can be utilized for freezing applications and storage.
