This extremely sensitive monitor measures the electrical resistance of an ESD wrist band and work surface and signals if the devices fail. It features audible and visible alarms that are triggered if the operators resistance exceeds 35 meg ohm or if the surface exceeds 100 meg ohm. CM1602 Dual Conductor Resistance Monitor has an ESD-safe conductive case and uses special dual wire wrist band sets that contain two independent ground paths, which provide fail-safe protection. This resistance based monitoring system works with the WB2800, WB2695, WB5000, and WB7000 Series wrist bands.
