Using the newest LED technology, the portable 50W Beacon Light flood light puts out the same amount of usable light on your work site as a 500W quartz halogen, with none of the downsides of the quartz halogen lights. The Beacon Light flood light generates light via a 50W LED integrated chip, which is solid state construction and can therefore endure shocks, vibrations and rough handling without breaking the LEDs. Also, the Beacon Light is cool running and safe to touch even when left operating for hours and days on end. All these benefits, and you use significantly less energy when running the Beacon Light; 90% less than a 500W quartz halogen flood light. Remote worksites can save significant generator capacity and might even be able to drop down a generator size or drop an entire generator completely.
