It mounts to the wall using lugs that grip the drywall from behind, so no additional mounting holes or wall anchors are needed.The duplex surge receptacle is rated for 15 amps/1875 watts, 125 volts. The replaceable SurgeBloc® (8477) is rated for 340 joules and can handle a peak suppression voltage of 1,000 VAC and a maximum surge current of 12,000 amps.
