They are manufactured from non-toxic polypropylene and offer strength and clarity. The vial has external threads, which provide a smooth and uniform inner surface which reduces the risk of contamination.The screw caps are also made of polypropylene, providing the same coefficient of expansion as the tubes. This along with a polypropylene inner lip ensures a leakproof seal, even at changing temperatures. The caps feature a long skirt and a super-fast thread design that allows them to be removed or sealed with a single turn. Screw caps sold separately.Features:Withstand termperatures from -196°C to 121°CRound bottom tubes can be centrifuged up to 17,000gTubes can be autoclaved (121°C) in upright position with the caps loosenedSpin rate: 25,000g.
