1.5ml Vortexer Attachment, 20 PlacesThe Vortexer Attachment is made to hold microcentrifuge tubes during use of a vortexing machine that has a rubber cup or pad. Slide the hold-down plate up and load the disk with microcentrifuge tubes. If less than a full load is used, space the tubes evenly. Let the hold-down plate slide onto the top of the tube caps. Holding the attachment by the ball handle, place the lower end of the shaft in contact with the vibrating vortexer cup or pad. The contents of the tubes will be agitated. It may be necessary to hold the plate down with one finger if agitation is forceful. Remove tubes by pushing them up from the bottom.Simple to use, hold the shaft end against the rubber pad or test tube cup of a vortexer and quickly mix eight or twenty tubes. Rugged polypropylene and Delrin® construction. 165mm (6 1/2") long shaft has a 25.4mm (1") diameter ball handle. 1 each, Simultaneously vortex multiple microcentrifuge tubes using a standard vortexer.
