Key tests in this program are as follows:Axial Frequency ResponseThis describes a loudspeaker's ability to reproduce audio accurately. Our test confirms the axial frequency response is balanced and flat.Vertical and Horizontal DispersionNot everyone gets the middle seat when watching a movie. So we test the off‑axis response to make sure it is smooth with no audible comb filtering, making every seat in the room the sweet spot.Output Versus DistortionThis test ensures the speaker can reach the high volumes necessary to achieve THX® Reference Level without creating audible distortion or artifacts.
