The groover was created with the needs of the west coast contractor in mind. The rivetless design allows for sharp, clean joints without mussing the top of the slab. The groover is formed from a single piece of rivet-free stainless steel to provide a completely smooth clean groove. This tool creates a groove in wet cement to control expansion and contraction and relieve stress points. The 6 In. long groover creates a 1/4 In. deep groove with a 1/8 In. radius to prevent chipping. The groover bit extends beyond the blade to easily move through the concrete. Each groover is made from strong #18 gauge brushed stainless steel that won't rust for a smooth working surface with easy clean-up. The rivet free design combines an 6 In. square groover base, top plate and bracket base to be electronically welded together providing strength to move through concrete.
