This helps smooth the graph and reduce the effects of electrical noise.The TC Type setting lets you select among the thermocouple types supported by an SL50 instrument. Options are J (the default), K, N, T, E, R, and S.Selecting the Enable CJC compensation option enables the use of secondary measurement of the reference junction temperature of the instrument's thermocouple. This temperature reading is then used to correct for the voltage generated between the instrument's input and the thermocouple connector. By default, this option is not selected.
