The metal C-clamp is large enough to fit onto surfaces up to 1.9' thick and the pressure can be adjusted quickly and easily using the metal spindle. The clamp is padded to prevent damage to the surface it's attached to, as well. The arm can extend up to 33'. At the end of the mic arm is a nut with 3/8'x16 threading and there's a 3/8' to 5/8' adapter included, so a wide range of microphone clips and shock mounts can be used.Tension adjustments are located at all pivot points.
