H-B B61800-0200 DURAC 1.050/1.220 Specific Gravity Shatterproof Plastic Hydrometer, 1/Pack Made from optical quality polycarbonate material, these plain form hydrometers are durable and shatterproof making them ideal in situations where rough handling or contamination could be an issue, such as in the food or beverage industries. Available in models measuring specific gravity / relative density (g/cm3) of a variety of liquids in various ranges from 1.0 to 1.620, they have an easy to read black scale on yellow back to help avoid eye fatigue. At 300mm (12") long, each hydrometer contains lead free ballast, is individually serialized, and has temperature standardization of 60 F (15 C). DURAC Polycarbonate Hydrometers are made and hand inspected by our U.S. quality team in our exclusive triple accredited/registered ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and A2LA Accredited Calibration Laboratory; internationally recognized and accepted by the signatory economies of the ILAC /MRA and located in our ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System registered facility. They are packaged with a multi-language (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish) Statement of Accuracy indicating accuracy traceable to NIST. Made in USA. Note: Polycarbonate hydrometers are not recommended for use with petroleum-based liquids or other corrosives that would potentially affect the plastic material. They should be stored in a clean, dry, safe place and should not be subjected to extreme temperatures.
