It's no secret that etched glass reticles are superior to wire because of their ability to provide a more precise shot. With etched glass, the illumination function shows only on the reticle where it appears to be floating. Wire reticles can reflect the illumination in the objective lens and be a distraction. The illumination feature adds another dimension of accuracy. This scope offers 5 brightness levels of illumination in both red and green for high or low lighting situations, or it can be turned off for a solid black reticle. The Mil-Dot reticle features multiple aiming points for hold-over and hold-under and with 4 Mil Dots in each direction, the precise mil spacing of this etched glass reticle gets you on target quickly.
