In dieser vollstndig bearbeiteten Auflage wird anhand der aktuellen Bestimmungen der Unfallverhtungsvorschrift "Krane" (BGV D 6 bisher VGB 9) ausfhrlich auf Bestimmungen der EG-Maschinenrichtlinie 98/37/EG und entsprechender Europischer Normen (EN-Normen) eingegangen. Zustzlich enthlt diese Auflage aktuelle Ausfhrungen zu zutreffenden EG-Richtlinien und EN-Normen, die bei der Konstruktion und beim Bau von Kranen zu beachten sind sowie zu den Themen "Gebrauchtkrane" und "Personentransport mit Kranen". Auerdem sind die Bestimmungen der VDE 0100 Teil 726 und die Bestimmungen der DIN EN 60204-32 kommentiert und gegenber gestellt worden. Hinzu kommen weitere wichtige Vorschriften mit gltigen Bestimmungen wie BGG 924 "Grundstze fr die Ermchtigung von Sachverstndigen fr die Prfung von Kranen durch die 15030", "Hebezeuge - Abnahmeprfung von Krananlagen - Grundstze" und DIN 15026 "Hebezeuge - Kennzeichnung von Gefahrstellen".
